1961年7月,日理万机的国家主席刘少奇同志亲临黑龙江省林区视察。大小兴安岭绵亘千里的浩瀚林海,到处留下了刘少奇同志的足迹。当时他虽已年过花甲,但每到一处,都要亲自召开由干部、工人、技术人员参加的座谈会,还要抽空到职工家里看一看,尽可能多地接触群众。如今35个春秋过去了,然而时间的推移并不能磨灭人们的记忆,他那慈祥的面容,谆谆的教导,将永远铭记在我们黑龙江省人民的心中。
In July 1961, Comrade Liu Shaoqi, President of RIKU, visited the forest area of Heilongjiang Province for inspection. The size of the Hinggan Mountains thousands of miles across the vast Linhai, leaving the footsteps of Comrade Liu Shaoqi everywhere. At that time, though he had spent more than a year, he had to personally hold forums attended by cadres, workers and technicians whenever he went there. He also took the time to look at the workers’ home and make contact with the masses as much as possible. Now that 35 years have passed, however, the passage of time does not abolish people’s memory. His kind-hearted face and sarcastic teaching will always be remembered in the hearts of our people in Heilongjiang Province.
