依托环青海湖国际公路自行车赛的品牌知名度与国际影响力,青海地区应充分挖掘环青海湖区域民族体育旅游资源的特色,推进环青海湖民族体育旅游经济圈构建。环青海湖地区拥有多样的民族体育项目、丰富多彩的传统节日以及旅游资源,具有较大的产业化发展潜力,但也面临着各种困境,研究最后针对环青海湖民族体育经济圈机制的构建,提出了相应的对策建议。
