铁路是我国大交通网中的重要运输工具之一,是国民经济大动脉。中央领导同志多次深入现场视察,国务院批准铁路实行投入产出、以路建路经济承包责任制,极大地鼓舞和鞭策我们深化改革,挖掘潜力,艰苦奋斗,勤俭建路,胜利完成各项施工任务,夺取两个文明建设的双丰收。1986年完成全部投产5项,单项投产11项,共1475公里,为年计划的102.5%。其中新线907公里,复线283公里,电气化285公里,新增运输能力超过5,000万吨。各项主要经济技术指标比上年均有较大幅度增长,完成工程任务总额70.2亿元,施工全员劳动生产率8,882元,工程成本降低率9%,工程质量优良率86.5%,全路呈现出生机勃勃、持续发展的大好局面。
