韩国石化巨头SKC有限公司近日与日本三井化学(Mitsui Chemicals)签署合资协议,计划将双方旗下的聚氨酯材料业务合并,并于2015年4月1日起成立新的合资公司,双方股份各占50%。新公司的目标是全球聚氨酯行业具有竞争力的领先企业,预计销售额将从2015年的15亿美元增加到2020年的20亿美元。新公司的名称还待双方协商决定,但总部已确定设在韩国。合并后,新公司的
South Korea’s largest petrochemical giant SKC Co., Ltd. and Japan’s Mitsui Chemicals (Mitsui Chemicals) recently signed a joint venture agreement, the two sides plan to merge the polyurethane materials business and from April 1, 2015 onwards to set up a new joint venture company, each holding 50% . The new company targets a competitive global leader in the polyurethane industry and expects sales to increase from 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2015 to 2 billion U.S. dollars in 2020. The name of the new company is yet to be decided upon by both parties, but the headquarters have been set up in South Korea. After the merger, the new company’s
