三种砧木(MM.111,MM.106和M.9)、三种中间砧类型(红元帅,MM.106和M.9)和四种中间砧长度(2.5cm,7.5cm,12.5cm和18cm)、对地上部树皮比例的影响试验已有四年,头三年所有植株各部位的树皮比例都在减少,但在第四年则很少或不减少。在不同砧木中新生部分的树皮比例没有差异,但是对接穗本身的树皮比例则有影响。接在M.9砧木上的接穗有最大的比例,但接在M.111砧木上的则比例最少。在中间砧类型中,不论新生部分的树皮比例或接穗和中间砧本身的树皮比例,凡接在M.9中间砧上的都比接在红元帅中间或MM.106中间砧上的比例高。除M.9中间砧之外,中间砧的长度对树皮比例没有影响。在M.9中间砧的树上,12.5cm和18cm长的中间砧比2.5cm长的其新生部分的树皮比例比较高。此外18cm长的中间砧比任何其他三种长度中间砧的接穗的树皮比例都高,但中间砧本身的树皮比例以7.5cm长的最大。
