日本电力结构由10家私有化的大型地方电力公司组成,为国内大多数用电户提供电力、输电和配电服务。这些电力公司由北到南依次是:北海道、东北地方、东京、中部地方、北国地方、关西、中国地方、四国、九州地方和冲绳。1996年,这些电力公司有7650万用户,其中30%左右为首都电力公司的用户。这些电力公司各类电站的总装机容量约1800万 kW或是全国电站总容量的79%。10家日本地方电力公司1996年业务活动的某些指数和效果见表1。
Japan’s power structure consists of 10 privatized large-scale local power companies that provide power, transmission, and distribution services for most domestic consumers. The power companies from north to south are: Hokkaido, Tohoku, Tokyo, Chubu, Northland, Kansai, China, Shikoku, Kyushu and Okinawa. In 1996, these power companies had 76.5 million users, of which about 30% were users of the Capital Power Company. The total installed capacity of various power plants of these power companies is about 18 million kW or 79% of the total capacity of the national power station. Some indexes and effects of the activities of 10 Japanese local power companies in 1996 are shown in Table 1.
