The European Space Agency has planned to combine the two Earth Observation Satellites (satellites) launched in the 1980s into a larger satellite by paying $ 11.1 million for funding remote sensing satellites within two years. The plan will be adopted by the 1980 council. Currently participating in this program are Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United States. The contribution of all countries to be determined. Canada may also join in the future. The two original satellites will monitor the use of land using radar and visible and infrared band instrumentation to help address the needs of developing countries and monitor the development of fisheries, sea ice and continental shelf oil and gas in the 200-mile maritime zone. Users have both official and non-governmental organizations. The original plan by Friedrichshafen in Germany
