Objective: To investigate the relationship between platelet parameters and metastasis of lung cancer in patients with lung cancer and platelet-related parameters. Methods: 56 cases of lung cancer confirmed by history, clinical manifestations, CT examination and pathological examination from December 2007 to December 2009 in our hospital were selected as research objects. Another 30 healthy people in our hospital were selected as healthy control group The platelet parameters (PLT, PCT, MPV, PDW) of lung cancer patients with different pathological types and metastasis were detected respectively. Results: Twenty-seven cases (30.4%) had thrombocytopenia (> 300 × 109 / L) in 56 cases of lung cancer, and one case of thrombocytopenia (> 300 × 109 / L) in 30 healthy controls Platelet increase rate comparison, the difference was significant. The difference of platelet count (PLT), platelet pressure (PCT) and platelet mean volume (MPV) of adenocarcinoma was statistically significant compared with other types of lung cancer and healthy control group respectively. The levels of platelet count (PLT), platelet pressure (PCT), mean platelet volume (MPV) and platelet volume distribution (PDW) in metastatic lung cancer patients were significantly higher than those in non-metastatic lung cancer patients. Conclusion: The significant increase of platelet in patients with lung cancer can prompt the growth of tumor in vivo and the increase of thrombocytopenia may also promote the growth and metastasis of lung cancer. The continuous dynamic observation of routine examination of platelet in patients with lung cancer is helpful for clinical To determine the condition and prognosis of the development.
