科研竞争力是评价科研机构整体竞争优势与能力的综合性指标。科学引文索引(SCI)是美国科技信息所根据现代情报学家加菲尔德(Eugene Garfield)的引文索引思想建立的著名科技文献数据库。本论述以SCI数据库为数据源,以新疆大学、兰州大学、石河子大学、宁夏大学、青海大学等五所西北高校为研究对象,采用发文量(总发文量、年度发文量)、被引频次(年度被引频次,总被引频次,篇均被引频次)、零被引率、H指数及衍生指数(R指数、AR指数)等文献计量指标,从论文生产力、影响力层面上进行科研竞争力评价研究。通过数据分析提出对策建议,最终为西部高校,尤其是新疆大学的科研工作、科研管理和学科规划提供数据支持和参考依据。
Scientific research competitiveness is a comprehensive index to evaluate the overall competitive advantages and capabilities of scientific research institutes. The Scientific Citation Index (SCI) is a well-known scientific and technical literature database created by the U.S. Agency for Scientific and Technological Information based on the idea of a citation index by modern intelligence scientist Eugene Garfield. This dissertation uses SCI database as data source and takes five Northwestern Universities as Xinjiang University, Lanzhou University, Shihezi University, Ningxia University and Qinghai University as research objects. The paper uses the amount of published papers (total amount of papers and annual papers) Citation Index, Cited Frequency, Cited Frequency), Zero Citation Rate, H Index and Derivative Index (R Index, AR Index), and other literatures, to evaluate the competitiveness of scientific research from the aspects of productivity and influence the study. Through the analysis of the data, it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions, and finally provides the data support and reference for the research work, scientific research management and subject planning of western universities, especially Xinjiang University.
