美国从一九七九年五月一日起,利用美国无线电公司的“通信卫星-1”对医院病人及医护人员开始了一项新颖的服务——全国范围电视网。通过电视网与各医院相连的电视线路,不仅给住院的病人播送保健教育节目,而且也为医护人员和医学专家传输最新的医疗资料。今后,医院病人可以在病房里观看介绍各种疾病及其治疗、预防的电视节目。在住院期间通过卫星电视医学节目,增加了保健知识。医生们可利用卫星传输的最新疗法,迅速提高医疗技术水平。因此,卫星在医院里的应用对疾病早期诊断、治疗将具有重要的作用。
Since May 1, 1979, the United States has used the American Radio Corporation’s “Communication Satellite-1” to start a novel service for hospital patients and medical personnel - a nationwide television network. Through television networks linked to hospitals, TV stations not only broadcast health education programs to hospitalized patients, but also transmit the latest medical information for medical personnel and medical experts. In the future, hospital patients can watch TV programs introducing diseases and their treatment and prevention in the ward. During hospitalization, health knowledge was added through satellite television medical programs. Doctors can use the latest treatments in satellite transmission to rapidly improve medical technology. Therefore, the application of satellites in hospitals will have an important role in the early diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
