The existing literature gives the calculation method of the axial buckling load of ordinary circular CFST columns under fire. This article extends it to the field of circular and oval reinforced concrete columns, which is necessary to complete the plan. According to Section 4.3.5.1 of Eurocode 4, Section 4.3.5.1, the fire resistance design method for composite columns is based on the results of new parameter analysis (including different outer diameters, different wall thicknesses, different slenderness ratios, reinforcement ratios and fire exposure times) This method is perfect. The results of these parameters are combined with the design methodology to arrive at the appropriate formulas and generate the appropriate tables for the different parts. This method is applicable to reinforced circular steel columns and steel oval columns under axial compression of not more than 5% of the reinforcement length and slenderness, and extends the restriction of Section 1.2 of Eurocode 4.
