一、前言安徽省淮南、寿县、凤阳及定远一带晚前寒武纪地层发育,出露完好,构造简单,化石丰富。该区地处中朝准地台的东南缘,是研究我国上前寒武系和解决我国南、北方上前寒武系地层衔接及对比问题的重要地区之一。该区的上前寒武系最早由李四光教授(1939) 调查确立。嗣后,还有许多研究者在该区做过工作(表1)。随着地质普查和科研工作的开展,研究程度不断提高,使该区的前寒武系地层研究取得了一些进展。特别是生物地层学方法在前寒武系的研究中被应用,纠正了一些以往地层对比的错误结论。但是,本区上前
I. INTRODUCTION Prehistoric Cambrian strata developed in Huainan, Shouxian, Fengyang and Dingyuan areas in Anhui Province are well exposed, with simple structures and rich fossils. This area is located on the southeast margin of the platform of the Sino-Korean prospective platform. It is one of the most important areas for studying the Precambrian and resolving the convergence and contrast of Precambrian strata in the south and north of our country. The area’s Upper Precambrian was first established by a survey conducted by Professor Li Siguang (1939). Subsequently, many other researchers worked in the area (Table 1). With the development of geological census and scientific research, the degree of research has been continuously improved, and some progress has been made in the study of the Precambrian stratigraphy in this area. Biostratigraphic methods, in particular, were applied to Precambrian studies to correct the erroneous conclusions of previous stratigraphic comparisons. However, the district approached
