Dr. Attreps has discovered that raw onions contain a significant amount of prostaglandin A_1 and that its content is about one quarter milligram of a bulb. This prostaglandin is an endocrine analog that was not previously found in plants. It has been shown to be effective in lowering blood pressure. To date, researchers have not correctly explained what is hidden in the little onion.
