“桑”这一意向在古代文学作品中,表示在采桑过程中同时意蕴着男女之情。敦煌本《秋胡戏妻》相较于之前的版本有所改变,内容更加丰富,人物形象更加鲜明富有特色,冲突感与戏剧性的完美结合。诱惑与拒绝的故事继续上演,可是已经随着汉代思想价值的变化,儒家学者对以往的桑林主题进行改造,采桑女的形象也被重新塑造。将《秋胡戏妻》与《陌上桑》作对比来探讨关于“桑”的主题演变。
