Vinyl acetate is an important monomer that isused to generate polyvinyl alcohol (PVA),polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), vinyl acetate-ethylenecopolymer (VAE), ethylene vinyl acetateresin, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymerand ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer(EVOH). Such polymers are mainly usedas fibers, adhesives, coatings and emulsifiersin construction, automobile, packaging, textileand dyeing/printing sectors.
