高考英语听力测试的增加是外语测试向更科学、更全面的方向迈进的重大举措,这体现了听力在高中英语学习中的重要地位。然而,听力历来是中学英语教学的薄弱环节,如何提高学生的英语听力水平,是广大师生关注的问题。笔者在教学实践中非常重视听力训练,对听力方面进行了一些研究,学习了一些有关英语听力方面的理论,以指导自己的教学实践。通过学习、实践、总结,认识到高中学生听英语主要有三方面的困难:(1)心理上的困难;(2)语言上的困难;(3)内容上的困难。要提高高中学生的英语听力水平,应根据这三方面困难产生的原因对症下药,即帮助学生培养自信,克服心理障碍,加强语言和文化背景知识的教学及运用灵活有效的方法。
The increase of college entrance examination English listening test is a significant step toward a more scientific and comprehensive test of foreign language test, which reflects the important position of listening in high school English learning. However, listening has always been a weak link in secondary school English teaching. How to improve students’ English listening comprehension is a matter of concern to teachers and students. The author attaches great importance to listening training in teaching practice, conducted some research on listening and learned some theories about English listening to guide her teaching practice. Through studying, practicing and summarizing, I realized that high school students have three major difficulties in listening to English: (1) psychological difficulties; (2) language difficulties; and (3) difficulty in content. To improve the English listening ability of senior high school students, we should try our best to help students develop self-confidence, overcome psychological barriers, strengthen teaching of language and cultural background and apply flexible and effective methods according to the causes of these three difficulties.
