From May 8 to May 1979, the Metallurgical Department held a technical assessment meeting of roller cone drill at Wuhan Metallurgical Machinery Repair Factory. A total of 52 representatives from scientific research and production attended the conference. The meeting identified the KY-250 and KY-300 mining roller cone bits. The deputies believed that these two kinds of drill bits have the advantages of long service life, fast perforation speed, good ballast discharge effect, reasonable structural design, feasible processing technology and mass production.
