Introduction As we all know, the conventional flotation process of sorting fine particles and ultrafine particles of the very low efficiency. The problem becomes even worse when trace impurities must be removed from valuable minerals or valuable minerals are recovered. One method that has been successfully used for this purpose is carrier flotation, also known as ultrafine flotation or flotation. In industrial applications of this method, coarse-grained calcite is used as an auxiliary mineral to remove anatase impurities from the kaolinite clay by flotation, and it has been reported that fine-grained mineral
