入世后,新疆出口番茄酱、脱水蔬菜、柠檬酸等食品的企业相继遇到国外苛刻的技术标准和要求。 番茄酱是新疆食品出口中的大宗商品,由于新疆的番茄品种具有干物质含量高和番茄红色素含量居世界最高的特点,初加工的番茄酱已占世界同类产品总销售量的近20%。去年新疆加工贸易持续增长,其中50%来自番茄酱出口,出口形势大好,甚至把前年的库存都销出去了。然而目前新疆番茄酱却因转基因问题而遭遇国外技术壁垒。
After China’s accession to the WTO, Xinjiang’s export enterprises such as tomato sauce, dehydrated vegetables and citric acid have successively encountered harsh technical standards and requirements from abroad. Ketchup is a commodity in Xinjiang’s food exports. Due to its high dry matter content and high content of tomato red pigment in Xinjiang, tomato paste which has been processed has accounted for nearly 20% of the total sales of similar products in the world. Last year, the processing trade in Xinjiang continued to grow, with 50% of them coming from the export of ketchup. The export situation was excellent and even the previous year’s inventories were sold out. At present, however, Xinjiang tomato sauce has encountered foreign technical barriers due to the problem of genetically modified organisms.
