概念整合理论是认知语言学的重要组成部分,其为解读语言生产厂的认知活动提供了一个解答方式。而近年来,随着跨文化交流的不断深入,国外影视作品被大众媒体引入中国,影视翻译,有气是电影字幕翻译的地位日益凸显。由于中美文化的差异,字幕的翻译时常会遭遇各种瓶颈,其中一大难点,就是传达对白中本有的幽默意味。本文通过对美国情景喜剧《破产姐妹》中幽默对白翻译的个例分析,旨在对概念整合指导下,字幕中的幽默对白的翻译策略,进行探究和检验。
Conceptual integration theory is an important part of cognitive linguistics, which provides a solution to the cognitive activities of language factories. In recent years, with the continuous deepening of intercultural communication, foreign films and TV works have been introduced into China by Chinese mass media, and film and television translation has become increasingly prominent in film subtitle translation. Due to the differences between Chinese and American cultures, subtitle translation often encounters various bottlenecks. One of the major difficulties is to convey the humorous meanings inherent in the dialogue. Based on a case study of humorous transliteration in American bankruptcy sisters, this article attempts to explore and test the humorous translation strategies in subtitles under the guidance of conceptual integration.
