羟肟酸是一种高效的螯合捕收剂,易与Fe形成络合物,可有效地分离赤铁矿和假象赤铁与石英等脉石矿物.当处理原矿磁选的粗精矿时,C_(7-9)羟肟酸(AHA)和柴油各71 g/t的正浮选与醚胺106g/t(硫酸95g/t)的反浮选指标相近,在弱碱性介质中,C_(7-9)羟肟酸粗选泡沫经重选分离,精矿品位65.71%Fe,回收率近82%.采用305g/t塔尔羟肟酸(THA)浮选.品位由27—29%(提高到62—64%Fe,回收率88—90%.比较氧化石腊皂(1200g/t)浮选,铁精矿的回收率高8%,而不增加药剂费用,经济效益显著.
