The ratio of dorsal artery, posterior tibial artery to brachial artery in diabetic patients was measured by Doppler shock blood flow detector, and the ratio <0.9 was abnormal. Results: The group of 152 patients with ABI <0.9 accounted for 40%. The lower extremity arterial disease group compared with the normal group, the former older, longer duration, postprandial blood glucose, TG, LDL-C, smoking, DBP and HbA1c compliance rate was significantly lower. Conclusions: The ankle-brachial index is a reliable, low-cost, simple and non-invasive diagnostic tool for lower extremity arterial disease. Elderly, long duration, high TG, high blood sugar is exacerbated peripheral artery disease (PAD) of the main factors.
