This article questions the paradox of diamonds and water in western economics. Considering that the difference between the value of diamonds and water is so large that it is not scientific to use marginal utility to explain it and that the last unit of water is ambiguous both in its use and its value as measured by the utility of water; water, air and the environment, though The necessities of human life, but they are all natural resources and have no price at all. Processed tap water, on the one hand, is man-made compensation for natural resources and on the other hand, the amount of human general labor covered . Therefore, labor value theory to explain it more scientific, with the marginal utility is not desirable.
