高考作为选拔人才的一种办法,应当肯定,但需要不断完善。其中一个重要问题就是高考的分类和科目设置需要改革。目前的高考分类和科目设置,经过七年实践证明,它虽然基本可行,但有明显的不足,主要表现在以下两个方面:①对中学教学容易引起偏科。准备考文科的不学物理、化学、生物;准备考理科的不学历史、地理。有相当一部分高中过早把学生按文、理科分班,准备应付高考。②不适应高等学校选拔人才的需要。高等学校是按专业计划招生的,
