Objective: To study and explore the relationship between cervical Ureaplasma urealyticum infection and premature rupture of membranes. Methods: The cervical secretions of 358 pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes (study group) and 300 pregnant women without premature rupture of membranes (control group) were cultured by liquid culture medium. Results: The infection rate of UU in research group was 77.65%, which was significantly higher than that in control group (34.00%, P <0.01). The incidence of preterm birth, low birth weight children and placental chorioamnionitis in study group was significantly higher than that in control group <0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the rate of cesarean section and incision healing (P> 0.05). CONCLUSION: Mycoplasma Urealyticum infection in pregnant women is closely related to premature rupture of membranes and is related to some unfavorable pregnancy outcomes.
