不锈钢按金相组织可分为奥氏体不锈钢、马氏体不锈钢和铁素体不锈钢.其中奥氏体不锈钢广泛地应用于建筑、运输机械和产业机械等部门,但它具有加工硬化性高,成屑时剪切应力大和导热系数小等性质.因此,加工这种钢时,为了抑制切削阻力和发热,刀具不但要有良好的锋利性,而且还应有优异的耐热性和耐崩刃性.为了适应加工不锈钢的长寿命和高效率要求,神户公司开发了涂层直柄钻头“GE-USM”,并已投放市场.现将该钻头的特点介绍如下.一、特点(1)钻头基体的材质采用耐热性优异的钻高速钢,为了提高耐磨性并防止粘刀,对钻头进行了TiN涂层处理.
