当前,“以社区为依托,提高全民素质和发展社区”的新格局正在我国社区教育领域逐步建立,并从过去单纯“提高青少年素质”的学校社区教育,拓展为“提高社区全体成员的素质、生活质量和发展社区”的社区教育。 近些年,我国的社区教育已经取得了长足的发展,在一些社区教育发展比较好的地区,地区教育已经从自发走向自觉,从无序步入有序,从活动型转向制度型、实体型、网络型和规范型,从经验型转为科研型,并且把社区教育的理论与实践紧密结合起来,产生了良好的社会效应。社区教育将以其“社区与教育结合”的独特教育方式,日益显示出深远的社会意义。
