传销,源于英语『direct Selling』一词。译法不同,在台湾多译为『直销』,香港则译为『传销』,其运作模式为,不透过经销商、零售店等中间通路,而将商品直接销售至消费者手中。 传销可以分为两大类:即单层次的传销和多层次的网络传销。两者的区别在于:在『单层次传销』中,直销员所得来源于他个人销售成绩,在『多层次传销』中,每一位直销者除了可以将其产品直接售于顾客,赚取利润外,还可以自己推荐、训练其他的直销者,一同来销售公司货物,以期获得多层次利润。 多层次网络传销是一种高效促销的组织形式,表面上看是销售商品,提高商品市场占有率,实质上是建立一种销售渠道的组织形式。多层次网络直销产生的理论基础是市场倍增学和分配报酬学,以迅速扩张市场占有率、激励更多的人加入其中。
MLM originates from the word “direct selling” in English. Different translation methods are often translated as “direct sales” in Taiwan and “mutual marketing” in Hong Kong. The mode of operation is that the goods are not sold directly to consumers through intermediary channels such as dealers and retail stores. MLM can be divided into two categories: single-level MLM and multilevel MLM. The difference between the two is that in the “single level MLM”, the direct seller’s income comes from his personal sales. In the “multilevel MLM”, each direct seller can earn profits not only by selling its products directly to customers. In addition, they can also recommend and train other direct sellers themselves to sell the company’s goods together in order to obtain multi-level profits. Multi-level network MLM is a form of efficient promotion. On the surface, it is the sale of goods. Increasing the market share of goods is essentially a form of organizing sales channels. The theoretical basis for multi-level online direct marketing is market multiplier learning and distribution remuneration to rapidly expand market share and motivate more people to join it.
