美国铁路目前承担货物运输量的35%强。铁路机车中99%为电力传动柴油机车。机车的主要燃料为2号柴油(美),年消耗量约40亿加仑。自七十年代以来,这种燃料不仅价格飞涨而且供应日趋短缺,预计今后20年内情况还会紧张。为解决这种困境,美国能源部委托加利福尼亚理工学院作了有关专题论证研究,提出六项建议措施。本文结合我国能源情况和牵引动力政策对此作了分析介绍。
U.S. Rail currently assumes 35% of the cargo traffic. 99% of railway locomotives are electric drive diesel locomotives. The main fuel for locomotives is No. 2 diesel (US), with an annual consumption of about 4 billion gallons. Since the 1970s, not only has the price of fuel been soaring and the supply has become increasingly scarce, the situation is expected to remain tight for the next 20 years. To solve this predicament, the United States Department of Energy commissioned the California Institute of Technology on the thematic demonstration studies, put forward six recommended measures. In this paper, the combination of China’s energy situation and traction policy was introduced.
