我国东西部地区在经济发展上巨大差距的成因固然有许多方面,但投资额及其在全国所占比重指标上的差距是重要因素之一.本文选取了基本建设与更新改造投资额两大指标,对东西部地区1995年～1999年5年期间投资上的差距进行了比较详细的对比分析,以期为中央及地方政府制定缩小差距的相关措施,谋求区域经济的协调发展提供参考.
