我国的师范专科大多数从七十年代末开始兴办,八十年代期间有了较快发展,但是由于社会需求变化和办学条件局限等方面原因还存在着一些显而易见的问题。与其它专业比较,专科英语似乎更加缺少宏观的规范,没有明确的培养规格和实施细则。本文拟就师范专科英语的培养方向和课程设置做些初步的探讨。培养方向从理论上来说不应该成为问题,因为学校的性质规定专科毕业生应为初中教师。但在实践中这个问题远非解决得很好,一是英语专科毕业生在不少学校里,特别在农村地区都要承担高中英语教学任务;
Most of the normal colleges and universities in our country started from the late 1970s and developed rapidly during the 1980s. However, there are still some obvious problems due to the changes in social needs and the limitations of schooling conditions. Compared with other professions, college English seems to be more lack of macro-norms, there is no clear training specifications and implementation details. This article intends to do some preliminary discussion on the training direction and curriculum of normal college English. The direction of cultivation should not theoretically be a problem because the nature of the school requires that junior college graduates be junior high school teachers. However, in practice, this problem is far from being solved well. First, graduates of English majors have to undertake high school English teaching tasks in many schools, especially in rural areas.
