从1956年Stahl对薄层吸附剂及实验技术进行了系统研究和规范化后,薄层色谱法(TLC)在药物、生药和中成药分析研究中获得了广泛的应用。但TLC的操作为“不连续的”,仪器化程度低,且分离效率还不够理想,致使TLC的应用受到一定的限制。对于复杂组分的分离如中草药成分以及中成药的分析研究等TLCI不易获得较为满意的结果。近十年来,随着分析技术的研究和发展,TLC在微量、高分离效率和仪器化等方面有了新的进展,目前已发展成一种新的薄层色谱分析技术——高效薄层色谱法(High performance Thin Layer Chrom-atography简称HPTLC)。
After Stahl systematically researched and standardized thin-layer sorbents and experimental techniques in 1956, thin-layer chromatography (TLC) has been widely used in the analysis of drugs, crude drugs and proprietary Chinese medicines. However, the operation of TLC is “discontinuous”, the degree of instrumentation is low, and the separation efficiency is not ideal enough, resulting in the application of TLC is limited. It is not easy to obtain satisfactory results for the separation of complex components such as the analysis of Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines. In the past decade, with the research and development of analytical techniques, TLC has made new advances in trace amounts, high separation efficiencies, and instrumentation. At present, TLC has developed into a new thin layer chromatography technology, high-performance thin-layer chromatography. (High Performance Thin Layer Chrom-atography referred to as HPTLC).
