贵阳铸造厂是在发展贵州柴油机制造业中为相应提高铸造水平而兴建的。20多年来,我厂一直生产发动机类铸件,更擅长生产缸体、缸盖、球墨铸铁曲轴铸件,这些产品畅销省内外,享有质量声誉。现主要产品有135系列柴油机铸件及东风—140发动机铸件,年产合格铸件7500吨。“七五”期间,为适应主机厂发展要求,我厂铸造生产能力将扩大到年产合格件两万吨以上,也将新增以仿西德“本茨”OM407型的国产6125型柴油机为代表的其它产品。由于这类产品技术要求高,产量又成倍递增,
