On June 19， another two “tigers” were unveiled by the Supervision Department of Central Discipline Inspection Commission. According to its website， Du Shanxue， Vice Governor of Shanxi Province， and Ling Zhengce， Vice Chairman of Shanxi Provincial People’s Political Consultantive Conference， are under internal investigation for suspected serious law and discipline violation.
Du Shanxue and Ling Zhengce are respectively the 29th and 30th provincial officials getting investigated after the 18th CPC National Congress. Statistics show that there have been 15 Shanxi officials in Shanxi having been dismissed in the anticorruption movement since the 18th Congress.
Before being investigated， Du Shanxue made his last public appearance on June 17. As reported by Shanxi Daily News， he participated in the joint conference held by Shanxi Provincial Government and State Grid that afternoon.
Du Shanxue worked in the financial system of Shanxi for a long time. In 1993 he started to serve as the Deputy Director of Shanxi Provincial Department of Finance.
Central Discipline Inspection Commission hasn’t disclosed details about Du Shanxue’s case yet， although analysts believe that his fall has something to do with the Commission’s inspection tour in Shanxi. Last October， the 6th Central Inspection Group marched into Shanxi. In February the group circulated a notice which disclosed that a small number of officials were suspected of abusing their positions and benefiting from illegal activities.
