在当今的大学英语口语教学中,形成性评估已作为教学评估的一种形式被采用,但它只是一种辅助式的评估,并未取得其真正积极的效果。本文根据形成性评估的理念,在教学过程中在实验班全面彻底地按照形成性评估的理念和具体要求去操作。在一个学期结束时,进行了口语测试,并把其班成绩与非实验班的同学成绩进行比较,发现相差较大;从而表明两班的教学效果及学生口语能力的提高方面悬殊很大。所以,笔者认为,形成性评估应该作为口语教学的一种主要评估形成,并严格按照它的理念与要求去操作,来促进英语口语教学的有效发展。
In today’s teaching of Oral English, formative assessment has been adopted as a form of teaching assessment, but it is only an adjunct assessment without any real positive result. Based on the concept of formative assessment, this article operates completely and completely in accordance with the concepts and specific requirements of formative assessment during the teaching process. At the end of a semester, oral tests were conducted and the differences between their grades and those of non-experimental classes were compared and found to be quite different. This shows that the teaching effectiveness of the two classes and the improvement of students’ oral ability are greatly disproportionate. Therefore, in my opinion, formative assessment should be formed as a major assessment of oral teaching and operate in strict accordance with its philosophy and requirements to promote the effective development of Oral English teaching.
