琅琊山电厂发电电动机为立轴、半伞式、三相、50Hz、同步发电电动机,在机坑内部装有8台冷却器,冷却方式为自循环空冷,通过循环冷却水带走机组运行时产生的热量,从而达到降温的目的。由于机组特有的冷却方式,使得发电电动机机坑内部布置较多的冷却水管路,并安装了大量测量冷却水压力和流量的表计。因发电电动机机坑属重要工作区域,机组运行时非紧急情况不允许工作人员进入,因此当机组冷却水管路漏水或压力、流量等表计破裂时,将有压力水流向或喷到设备上,维护人员不能及时发现进行处理,当冷却水喷到定子线棒、转子绕组等其他重要电气设备时,为机组稳定运行带来安全隐患,由此突显出机坑漏水检测自动化技术的必要性和重要性。
