The National Viral Hepatitis Symposium Jointly Held by the State Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of Health and the Chinese Medical Association was held in Beijing from December 4-9, 1985. A total of 539 experts, professors, scientists and technologists from clinical, epidemiological, epidemic prevention, immunology, pharmacology, pathology and testing from 27 provinces and cities nationwide attended the conference.
