去到中华人民共和国的音乐家们首先感到惊讶的是中国音乐文化规模的巨大。了解了新中国极其丰富的音乐生活时,我们深信中国共产党的指导原则《百花齐放》的好处。中国音乐文化是以深刻独创的民族特点著称。了解中国的音乐——并不只是知道其规模就够了,还要懂得这个民族的特点。而这些远不是这么容易了解的。不了解民族艺术的传统就不可能正确地评价中国音乐和判断其发展的道路。
The first musicians who went to the People’s Republic of China were surprised by the scale of Chinese music and culture. When we learned about the extremely rich musical life in New China, we are convinced of the benefits of the “all-encompassing” guiding principle of the Chinese Communist Party. Chinese music culture is famous for its profound and original national characteristics. Understanding Chinese music - not just knowing its size is enough, but also understanding the characteristics of this nation. And these are far from easy to understand. Without knowing the tradition of national art, it is impossible to correctly evaluate Chinese music and judge its development.
