The adsorption of Fe ~ (3+) on the cation exchangers Amberlite IRC-50, Wofatit CA-20, Wofatit CP and Saturion NIC increased in the presence of aliphatic amine. On the first and the second cation exchangers, the maximum adsorption capacity of Fe 3+ was observed, probably due to their large pore structure. The effect of the amines decreases in the following order: Ethylenediamine-1, 1,2-ethane-4-triethanolamine 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-propanediol. Only in the case of Saturion NICs, the effect of veins was more pronounced than that of ethylenediamine. Amounts of amine adsorbed on the cation exchange were not observed.
