中国书法以崇古为尊,但崇古的同时历代书家对书法的创新从未停止过,拙文主要研究的清代篆书也不例外,清朝书法家在保留了古人神韵的同时又自成一格,推陈出新,这对我们现在研究书法的创作具有很大的启示。自两汉以后篆书式微,直到清代小篆书体才得到长足的发展,且清代很多篆书书家都是从事学术研究的专家,在金石学和篆隶书书法艺术创作方面都取得了很大的成就,产生了很多重要书法家,这是堪与秦代小篆和唐代小篆相提并论的一个时代。
