利用航空方法进行工程地质及水文地质勘测有很大的优点,它以空中观察及室内的航摄照片判释代替了大量的地面测绘工作。这不但改进了地质人员的工作条件,加快了工作进度,同时也扩大了地质人员观察范围,使之能鸟瞰广大区域的水文网、地貌单元及物理地质现象,以便全面地正确布置调查路线,观察点和勘探点,提高工作成果的质量。
The use of aeronautical methods for engineering geology and hydrogeological surveying has great merit in that it replaces a large number of ground surveying efforts with aerial observations and indoor aerial photo interpretation.
