December 6-7, 2012, “The Fate of a Generation, the Destiny of a Country: The History and Memories of the Chinese Youth Movement Going to the Countryside” The International Symposium was held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The conference was co-sponsored by the Chinese University of Hong Kong The Hong Kong Institute of History and Humanistic Studies, the Center for Modern Chinese Studies in France, the Sino-French Center of Tsinghua University, the Chinese Studies Service of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Youth and Youth Affairs, etc. More than 50 domestic and foreign scholars attended the conference.
