日本神奈川县工业试验所首次用非切削成型法制成了碳纤维增强塑料螺栓。这种螺栓的重量不到钢螺栓的一半,无需切削加工,能保持原料碳纤维的强度。碳纤维增强塑料通常是在环氧树脂中加入碳纤维,经混合和热加工成型制得。而本试验用聚苯硫醚代替环氧树脂。在碳纤维中加入成型模具制得不需切削成型的螺栓。为提高强度,必须除去碳纤维带入基体树脂中的气泡。由于聚苯硫醚的成型性好、收缩量小,因而成品表面精度高。
Japan’s Kanagawa Industrial Testing Laboratory for the first time using non-cutting molding method made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic bolts.
