Rhyming with poems is a long tradition shaped by the three thousand-year history of Chinese poetry and has never had any negative opinions. In terms of rhyming, old-style poetry exists only for the question of whether it is good or not, and that there is no problem to be solved. Because the old poem does not rhyme, the poem is scattered, not as poetry. As for the new poem or not to rhyme, but it is an old problem of tooth loss, argued for how long? It can be said that the occurrence and development of new poetry simultaneously, more seventy years old. It seems that over half a centuries’ unswerving lesson is that this issue can not be conquered by an authoritative consensus based solely on the confrontation of theories. In order to solve this problem, I think it is necessary to get rid of the purely theoretical debate, the practice of creation in a specific space-time, and refer to the poetics of practical significance to treat the issue of the preservation and abolishment of the rhythm of new poetry.
