平韭4号是我所培育的抗寒性极强的韭菜优良品种‘于1995年通过河南省审定。经区域试验和生产示范表明：平韭4号适宜全国种植，尤其是在日光温室等保护地栽培中，表现优良，经济效益显著。特征特性株高sthm．株丛直立，长势旺盛，叶片宽大肥厚，平均叶宽Icm，每株叶片数6－7个。
