A preface From the 1960s onwards, polymer drag solvent in the inside and outside the drag reduction effect and its mechanism has been a lot of research and reports, but its impact on the performance of the pump are few and far between. In 1974, an experimental report on the influence of polymer additives on the mechanical properties of turbine was presented. The experimental data in this report show that the RefaN423 solution can improve the efficiency and indenter of centrifugal pumps and propeller turbines, but the RefaN423 solution produces significant degradation.
