This paper systematically elaborates the status of the river course, the current situation and existing problems of the river in Weizhou Bay, and makes a comprehensive analysis on the historical and recent evolution of the river course. The results show that under the premise of maintaining the current river regime unchanged, the future evolution of this section of the river is still the trend of the collapse of the bank, the bulging of the bank, the more curved corners and the downward movement of the top-flushing section. On the basis of this, the author put forward two plans for maintaining the current river regime and implementing the cutback project. In order to maintain the existing river regime plan, the reclamation project adopts a smooth revetment type and protects important sections. , We should pay close attention to the development of the new river under the circumstance of taking advantage of the situation. When the new river develops to a certain extent and the connection between the import and export and the upper and lower reaches is good, we should take timely measures to stabilize the new river and the upper and lower reaches of the river so that Cutting the project to achieve the desired purpose, through the analysis of upstream and downstream water level changes after cutting and river evolution is estimated that: cut will cause the water level down the upstream, which to some extent due to the lower Jingjiang cut caused by the Mausoleum Sediment deposition below the Rocky, water level elevation will play an active role, while the lower reaches of the water level is slightly elevated, but will not affect flood control, the project is feasible.
