《世说新语》是刘宋时期临川王刘义庆所作的一部记载汉末、三国、两晋士大夫阶层遗闻逸事的小说。由于受到盛行于魏晋时期的玄学的影响,一种崇尚淡美的审美趣尚广泛流行于当时的士人之间。本文主要介绍了魏晋时期士人淡美趣尚形成的背景及其审美风格的特点,并着重分析了受到这种趣尚影响的人们的人生追求。
“Shi Shuo Xin Yu” is a novel by Liu Yiqing of Linchuan during the Liu Song period that records anecdotal evidence of the late Han, the Three Kingdoms and the two wushu herdsmen. Due to the metaphysics prevailing in the Wei and Jin dynasties, a kind of aesthetic taste advocating lightness was widely prevalent among the scholars at the time. This paper mainly introduces the background and the aesthetic style of the literati in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. It also analyzes emphatically the people’s pursuit of life influenced by this interest.
