The objective of this study was to determine the relationships between floret primordium differentiation, degeneration and growing degree days after sowing (GDD) with different cultivars and tiller positions. It was found that rising curve and straight line could describe respectively floret differentiation and degeneration in relation to GDD on MS, T1 and T2 in wheat. The floret differentiation and degeneration models on T3 appeared abnormal in this study.
