油画创作的题材问题一直是艺术家们争执不休且亟需探究和梳理的问题,这关系到我国油画艺术创作的道路和方向。题材的探讨已有多种论调,有新中国成立初期的题材划一、题材决定论,改革开放初期的题材多元化等。文章通过对十二届全国美展作品部分作品的探讨,反思了中国油画创作的题材问题,认为题材并不是评定绘画作品优劣的标准和核心,油画艺术真正的生命力在于对生活内涵的挖掘。
The subject matter of oil painting has always been a controversial issue for artists and an urgent need to explore and sort out the issue, which is related to the road and direction of China’s oil painting creation. There have been many discussions of the theme of discussion, there are the theme of the early period of the founding of New China, the theme of determinism, the theme of the early reform and opening up diversified subjects. Through the discussion of some works of the 12th national art exhibition, the article reflects on the subject matter of Chinese oil painting creation. It holds that the theme is not the standard and core of the evaluation of the quality of the painting. The real vitality of oil painting art is the excavation of the connotation of life.
